"Victory is never admitting defeat" – Bobby Orr

As a Calgary resident with over 25 years of skating expertise, I bring a wealth of knowledge and passion to the ice. My coaching journey has taken me internationally, with a focus on training children aged 6–16. Backed by an extensive hockey background, I've had the honor of achieving three national championships and a silver medal with the University of Alberta.

My power skating career began at just 12 years old as a junior instructor with Skate Canada, earning certification at 17. Since then, I've owned and coached at multiple hockey schools across Canada and the United States, training over 1,000 athletes annually.

My Philosophy:
Hockey is a marathon, not a sprint. Progress comes through time, dedication, and focused effort. Skating muscles require unique training unlike any other sport. I emphasize mental development alongside physical skills, teaching athletes how to push their limits while fostering positive self-talk and resilience.

Current Focus: Today, I concentrate on consulting minor hockey teams, providing private lessons, and running specialized camps. Each program is tailored to help athletes refine their skills and achieve their personal best.
